Homemade Sweet Granola

Making your own granola is easy and fun! It's especially delicious served with plant-based yogurt and fresh fruit.

Purposefully Plant-Based Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup honey
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cups pecans
  • 1 cup dried strawberries
  • ½ dried cherries
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup chia or flax seeds

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 300°
  2. Mix your rolled oats, chia seeds, pecans, walnuts and cinnamon together in a bowl
  3. Add the honey and oil and stir until fully mixed
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, pull out of the oven and mix to create chunks in the granola. Then bake for another 15 minutes
  5. Allow the mixture to cool for an hour in the fridge
