The editors Leah D. Schade and Margaret Bullitt-Jones have gathered essays by writers from a wide array of faith traditions and perspectives and arranged them into seven sections:

Each section is followed by a brief summary of its essays, a few “questions to ponder” and a suggested spiritual practice or two. The format makes it an excellent resource for individual reading and reflection as well as group study and reflection. And if you want an insightful book that you can absorb in small bits, a collection of essays is perfect for that.
