Jackie is the founder and manager of Urban Exposure Initiative. She is a micro-urban farmer who participates in community garden design and consultation. She is a former community outreach specialist and state family support partner. Today, Jackie focuses on the reconnection to peace with Earth and all its healing properties, as well as the gift of life amongst all the noise of the world. Why Do We Garden? is a purpose-driven approach to serving your family, your community and yourself. It is an interactive workshop and a call to action to find your “why.”
Lecture starts at 6:30, but consider joining us at 5 for Taps on Tuesday, a happy hour-style event hosted by Kalamazoo Valley’s culinary and brewing students in the 418 Restaurant on the ground floor.
