About The Event

Water is nourishment, water is sacred, WATER IS LIFE

This event will focus on the water that fuels us and gives us life. We'll learn about on the Line 5 oil pipeline that threatens our Great Lakes. Dr. Nichole Keway Biber, tribal citizen of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and longtime water activist, will share her expertise and wisdom on the struggle to stop oil giant Enbridge. This is a local and global struggle as we challenge fossil fuel polluters and fight for a clean energy future. We will learn from Dr. Nichole and others, share a meal together and build community as we continue to fight for people and the planet.
