Portage UCC
Portage United Church of Christ is planning a display table the last two Sundays in April to celebrate Earth Day and to educate the congregation about greener alternatives to plastic items for use in the home. The display will be organized by rooms including kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

People's Church
People’s Church of Kalamazoo will hold an Earth Day Service on Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 10:45am-12:00pm.
The Earth Day service will be based on Thich Nhat Hanh’s text, “Love Letter to the Earth.” Weather permitting, the service will be outdoors. There will be stations set up around the church grounds where people can engage in activities such as planting seeds, connecting with trees, walking in the woods, guided meditation, chalking love notes to the earth on the pavement, and participating in advocacy letter-writing. This will be an intergenerational service, in which the church youth help lead activities.
If the weather does not cooperate, activity stations will be moved indoors.
Location: People’s Church, 1758 10th St.
